Collections and search
Make catalog discovery clear and trustworthy
Create products and collections in Shopify admin before styling their presentation. Narrivelle renders Shopify collection data, result URLs, filters, sorting, and pagination.
Collection templates
The standard collection uses Collection header and Collection product grid. Configure image/title treatment, columns, products per page, media ratio, quick view, description, filtering, sorting, and Sidebar or Drawer filters.
Product cards and collection lists
Global Product card settings govern image fit, vendor, badges, hover image, and title/price styling. List collections and Collection list sections use real collections and optional presentation overrides.
Search configuration
Configure filter values through Shopify Search & Discovery. Theme settings choose search page or drawer and whether predictive suggestions include products only or products plus content.
Test filters and empty states
Test filtering, sorting, pagination, long titles, sale products, sold-out products, products without media, and empty results. Sidebar and Drawer filter layouts should be reviewed at Compact, Tablet, and Desktop widths; browser Back and Forward should preserve the expected Shopify URL.
Do not invent catalog data
Collection membership, availability, prices, vendors, filter values, and product types come from Shopify. Search remains a shareable Shopify GET URL, so do not add manual filter labels or promises that Shopify Search & Discovery has not actually configured.
