Product recommendations
Show Shopify-selected related or complementary products on a product page.
Products and cart
Add relevant product discovery
Open Customize → Products → Default product → Add section → Product recommendations. Shopify supplies the recommendation results; Narrivelle controls their heading and grid presentation.
Recommendation intent
Recommendation intent chooses Related products or Complementary products for the Shopify recommendation request.
Product count
Product limit sets how many recommendations are requested. Four products create the default balanced recommendation row.
Grid layout
Tablet product columns chooses two or three cards. Desktop product columns chooses three or four cards. Image ratio sets the card media crop.
Recommendation source
The section displays only results returned by Shopify for the current product and selected intent. It does not provide manual product blocks.
Set recommendations in Shopify
In Shopify Admin, open Apps → Search & Discovery → Product recommendations → Add recommendations. Select the source product, then choose its Related products and/or Complementary products before saving. Related products can combine your choices with Shopify-generated suggestions; Complementary products are selected as add-ons.
